This product has intense colour payoff. It provides extremely bright, true to pan colour that makes MAC's shadows look insipid in comparison. This strength is also a weakness , the Lumiere palette does not do subtle although, I have found the pale white shade on the top left mixes well will with the other colours to act as a sort of pastelizer. All shades actually mix well together on the brush and it is easy to customise them, this is down to the beautifully soft texture which, paired with its unbeatable pigmentation makes it obvious why this palette is just so good. Although again with the greatest strength, greatest weakness paradigm this does mean the shadow produces a lot of dust when picking it up but when you get such a good amount of product who really cares. That top white colour is actually almost gone in my set because I use it often as a highlighter for the cupids bow and sometimes the inner corner of the eye. It is super frosty and super intense and not really suitable for the cheekbone. Even on the lip it can look a little crazy in real life, but on the runway or on set it is unbelievably beautiful and angelic. Special shoutout also to those two purple/violet shades, they are gorgeous with so much depth and an almost green shift. Whenever I use them I think of butterfly wings because of that iridescent quality. In summary I love this product and I know I can always rely on it when I need to deliver a pure punch of colour without having to use a cream.
