How did Jihye create this look?

This artistic make-up look is inspired by Korean culture from which I am from; a lotus, traditional pattern, dragonfly that’s from my childhood memory. In my opinion, as an artist it is important to stay original, and this mostly comes from where you’re born, grew up, and your traditions. Those are the strongest values that define who you are as an artist.

To make patterns on the face, using the ohp sheet, draw the shape in the middle of the paper and cut out the shape with the knife. It could be difficult so be patient. After you finish place it on the part of the face where you want a shape and tap the body paint in it with makeup sponge. The good thing about this skill is that you can make the same pattern and try with different colors in a short amount of time. It is easy and playful.
